At the TRAIL lab, there is always more work to be done and we are seeking individuals in the following areas.

Current Opportunities

Graduate Students

We are considering applications from motivated MSc and PhD students (through the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, University of Toronto). Proposed research must align with the mission of the TRAIL lab.

Volunteer Opportunities

We accept a limited number of committed volunteers with a health or social science background who have experience or interest in disability, rehabilitation and social inclusion. Preference will be given to those who have taken a research methods course and have completed their TCPS2 training. Please note: these opportunities are only during daytime hours on weekdays. 

Please be advised we are currently not accepting any volunteers for Summer 2021. We will have a few limited positions for Fall 2021.

Post-doctoral fellowships

We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow to work on the following:

  • creative ways to improve the inclusion of young people with disabilities in the workforce

Post-doctoral fellows are expected to apply for external funding (e.g., SSHRC, CIHR) in advance of starting the first year of their fellowship. We will provide support to qualified applicants in preparing funding applications.

Undergraduate students

We accept a limited number of highly motivated undergraduate students for their 4th year thesis / project. Please apply well in advance of the proposed start date by contacting Dr. Sally Lindsay.
