Jason Tafler

In 2017, Jason founded Unyte Health Inc. to fulfill his passion for improving health and wellness. Unyte's mission is to be the leading, trusted digital health guide that helps people navigate the natural health world and discover the most effective solutions for themselves and their families. Unyte's first product offering - Unyte Meditate - uses biofeedback technology and interactive experiences to help people learn meditation and mindfulness.

Prior to founding Unyte, Jason was Executive Vice President, Customer Experience at Rogers Communications, overseeing enterprise-wide customer experience and digital strategy, user experience and design, and digital channels. He joined Rogers as Chief Digital Officer in 2011 to lead the company's digital media strategy and innovation.

Jason grew up in Toronto and, before joining Rogers, spent most of the prior decade of his career in the U.S. building, advising and investing in entrepreneurial, growth-oriented companies in the media and and technology industries.
Prior to joining Rogers, Jason was CEO of PointRoll, a leading U.S.-based provider of innovative digital advertising solutions and the cornerstone of Gannett's digital marketing services group, powering over $1 billion of online ad spending per year for 2/3 of the Fortune 500. He joined PointRoll in 2005 as VP of Business Development & Strategy after advising the company on its sale to Gannett, and he also held the role of SVP, Global Business Operations & Strategy before becoming CEO in 2008.
Prior to joining PointRoll, he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital with The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. (JEGI), a boutique investment bank in New York serving clients in the media, information and marketing services industries.
Before moving to the U.S., Jason played a key role in building and selling lifestyle publisher 50Plus (currently Zoomer Media) and worked in investment banking for First Marathon Securities (currently National Bank Financial).

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  Jason joined the Board of Directors of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in 2015.  He lives in Toronto with his wife Afshan and son Aydan.
