What is CIMT?
CIMT is an evidence based motor therapy that aims to improve arm and hand function for infants and children with arm and hand asymmetry , and suspected or diagnosed hemiplegic cerebral palsy.
Baby CIMT Clinic Program
The Baby CIMT Clinic Program at Holland Bloorview provides assessment and consultation to infants ages 4 months to 21 months with asymmetrical arm and hand function, and suspected or diagnosed hemiplegic cerebral palsy. The clinic provides a standardized hand assessment, a neurological exam , and works in partnership with the community therapist(s) and/or early interventionist to support the implementation of Baby CIMT.
