An Evening of Possibility 2013

7th Annual An Evening of Possibility raises a record-breaking $567,000!

On November 18, 2013, more than 250 of Toronto’s business and community leaders gathered for a sumptuous five course dinner, prepared by nine of Canada’s finest chefs. The event raised more than $567,000 for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation. Since 2007, Holland Bloorview’s An Evening of Possibility has raised more than $2.8 million to help to change the world of kids with disabilities.

Culinary director Claudio Aprile, co-owner of Origin, put together an impressive lineup of celebrity chefs, including Matt Pettit of Rock Lobster, Rob Bragagnolo of Marben, Susur Lee of Lee & Bent, Eron Novalski of Aria Ristorante, Cory Vitiello of The Harbord Room, Anthony Walsh of Canoe, Steven Kwon of Oliver & Bonacini, and Frankie Solarik of BarChef.

This year’s An Evening of Possibility was presented by BMO and Cadillac Fairview. Nitin Kawale, Chair of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation and President of Cisco Systems Canada Co. chaired the evening with Breakfast Television’s Kevin Frankish as Master of Ceremonies. The evening also featured moving keynote addresses from family ambassadors Kadey Schultz and Vito Bigioni, as well as Emma Evans, a Holland Bloorview child ambassador.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our sponsors and their guests for making this a true evening of possibility. Funds raised at An Evening of Possibility support Holland Bloorview’s $80 million No Limits campaign.

Together, we are creating a world with no limits.
